Ever wonder how a night at the NME Awards would go down…….well let one of our own take you through the latest installment of one of Rocks most notorious awards ceremonies, step by step.
NME AWARDS, dominoes pizza for dinner, warm carling beer.. took a pee next to Matt Bellamy and Roger Daltrey, considered getting a cheeky weiner shot but thought better of it.. Live, PJ Harvey was a delight, Hurts did just that, My chemical Romance were a horror show and the Woo’s were loud, proud and on fine form.. It was time to leave Brixton once the set was ripped out from under my feet backstage.. bombed into Soho, turned away from the after party along with Crystal Castles.. wound down with espresso martini’s and made a zzz line for bed.. The night rated a sterling 8.5/10.. rock and roll baby..
